California and Illinois are living in Obama’s second term

“Chronic unemployment is a permanent feature of the economy, high taxes going higher, and oppressive bureaucracy that is anti-business by ideology and commitment.”

Roger Hedgecock video from Marathonpundit:

“California is living, ladies and gentlemen, already in Obama’s second term,” Roger Hedgecock conceded at RightOnline 2012 in Las Vegas last weekend.

The syndicated talk show host and former San Diego mayor was another of the fine speakers at the Saturday morning general session.

“We know what it’s like to live in a society dominated by one party,” Hedgecock continued. “Chronic unemployment is a permanent feature of the economy, high taxes going higher, and oppressive bureaucracy that is anti-business by ideology and commitment.

“We are not alone, Illinois is in the same boat.” Hedgecock followed up with a question, “Anybody from Illinois?” There was silence. I was not the only patriot from the Land of Lincoln in the ballroom at the Venetian, but we were all too embarrassed to answer in the affirmative.

“People here from Maryland–you’re in the same boat,” he added.

“The answer to any problem with those states-and in other places–is to raise taxes,” Hedgecock correctly summarized.

As bad as Obama is, he warned, our situation is more dire. “It’s not just Barack Obama,” he explained, “it’s the ten thousand wannabe Barack Obamas–at every level, state and local.”

After recounting a vote fraud story, Hedgecock appealed to us, “We can’t let them cheat.” Then his talk returned to Illinois. “We can’t let them do what they do out of Chicago. That Chicago cancer is metastasizing now to every corner of this great country.”

“And we’ve got to stop it this election,” Hedgecock pleaded, “because if we don’t–then we’re not going to have free and fair elections.”
