Teacher’s Union “children’s fund” is political campaign fund

February 9, 2012 05:21

The teacher’s union takes dues for what is called a “children’s fund.” The funds are then used as attack ads against candidates the union wants to defeat. Members of the union are deliberately deceived into thinking that the fund is used to benefit children. Not really surprising for a union that promotes Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) questions the witnesses during the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform hearing entitled, “The Right to Choose: Protecting Union Workers from Forced Political Contributions” on February 8, 2012.
