Lead author of the fraudulent UN IPCC climate report, Michael Oppenheimer, a Professor of Geosciences at America’s Princeton University has decided to enlist border security enthusiasts into the climate hoax by claiming warming will cause hordes of starving Mexicans to flee north to the US.

Lead author of the fraudulent UN IPCC climate report, Michael Oppenheimer, a Professor of Geosciences at America’s Princeton University has decided to enlist border security enthusiasts into the climate hoax by claiming warming will cause hordes of starving Mexicans to flee north to the US.

Oppenheimer was formerly chief scientist and an advocate with an NGO called the Environmental Defence Fund (EDF). EDF is a radical environmentalist group that advocates tradeable pollution rights such as proposed in cap and trade legislation. EDF along with sister organization Natural Resources Defense Council were recently successful in stopping 8 of 11 proposed new coal plants and forcing Texas utility TXU (now Luminant) into agreeing to back federal legislation to create a cap-and-trade system regulating CO2 emissions.

One of the leftist groups that financially supports EDF is the VIRA I. HEINZ ENDOWMENT (Heinz) which is connected to the ardent cap and trade pusher John Kerry. Heinz helped fund League of Conservation Voters which supported John Kerry for President.

League of Conservation Voters (LCV) is one of the top politically influential environmental groups with 2009-10 campaign contributions of over $195,000. According to Discover the Networks, LCV is connected through its board to Soros funded Center for American Progress and other leftist groups:

“LCV has received funding from the Bauman Family Foundation; the Beldon Fund; the Blue Moon Fund; the Bullitt Foundation; the Compton Foundation; the Educational Foundation of America; the Nathan Cummings Foundation; the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation; the Joyce Foundation; the J.M. Kaplan Fund; the David and Lucile Packard Foundation; the Scherman Foundation; the Surdna Foundation; the Turner Foundation; the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation; the New-Land Foundation; and numerous others.

The LCV Board of Directors includes officials of the Beldon Fund, the Natural Resources Defense Council, Environmental Defense, Friends of the Earth (Brent Blackwelder), the Wilderness Society, and the Center for American Progress (John D. Podesta).”

Another Source of funds for EDF is the Joyce Foundation which has links another radical leftist group, the Tides Foundation. These groups shuffle tax deductible money around to lobbying non profits like  Nature Conservancy which is the top spending environmental lobbying group for 2009 with $550,000 of the $2.3 million green groups spent lobbying in 2009. Joyce Foundation also has ties to the Chicago Climate Exchange and Barack Obama.

Isn’t it interesting how all these ‘scientists’ that support the climate hoax seem to be radical environmentalists with ties to left wing organizations which push a political agenda.
